OneTable, welcome your new NYC Field Specialist: Zebulon B. Hurst!
Zeb (he/they) is joining OneTable as the NYC Field Specialist after completing his Masters in Theological Studies and Certificate in Sexuality and Religion at Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, CA. Interested in translation and embodiment as political and artistic endeavors, his poetry and scholarly work revolves around tensions regarding pleasure-pain, attraction, and desire. After growing up in small-town Iowa and finishing undergrad in Chicago at the University of Illinois – Chicago, Zeb identifies through and through as a Midwesterner. He is also part of the Cultural Organizing Team at Linke Fligl – a queer, Jewish and Diasporist land project based in Middleton, NY – where he co-edits the zine series Ki Li Ha’aretz (For the Land is Mine).
As a host with OneTable since 2019, Zeb has refined his ability to host both virtually and in-person. Passionate about good friends and good food, Zeb is absolutely thrilled to be joining OneTable as the New York Field Specialist!
