OneTable Announces Two New Features for Guests and Hosts
OneTable Announces Two New Exciting Features for Guests and Hosts to Help Serve More at Shabbat Dinner Tables
Option to Add a +1 RSVP and Up to $300 in Nourishment Support Available Now
(August 18, 2022) – OneTable, a national non-profit that empowers people (21-39ish) to find, share, and enjoy Shabbat dinners, today announced two new exciting features for Guests and Hosts to elevate hospitality at Shabbat dinner tables. The “guests +1” feature and “open your dinner, unlock $300 nourishment” options are immediately available through OneTable [onetable.org].
“We are excited to help more people come together to recharge and find meaning at Shabbat dinner tables this year,” said Tirtzah Bassel, OneTable’s Vice President of Jewish Learning and Partnerships. “We are all enjoying the chance to reconnect in person at our own comfort levels. OneTable is listening and giving our hosts and guests new options to savor a Friday meal, unplug from the week, and build meaningful communities.”
During the pandemic, OneTable turned off the guest rsvp option to add a +1 when the guest rsvp’ed to a dinner. Now OneTable has re-activated that option and will give hosts the ability to set certain safety parameters, including requiring vaccination for guests if they choose.
This +1 feature will help guests bring their friends to meet new people at the Shabbat dinner table and will help Hosts open up their tables, elevating OneTable’s core value of hospitality.
Open your dinner, unlock $300 Nourishment
Now Hosts can receive up to $300 per Shabbat dinner in Nourishment support (up from $100 per dinner) which equals $10 per person for up to 30 people at the table!
Hosts who choose an open dinner or host-approval dinner for up to 30 guests can receive more Nourishment support than ever before. Hosts use the OneTable Nourishment catalog to elevate their Friday night with groceries, prepared meals or delivery, and home decor items from hundreds of businesses. Shabbat dinners are perfect for building community, meeting new friends, and celebrating.
