OneTable Partners with the Institute for Jewish Spirituality and Yael Shy for weekly Shabbat Moment
OneTable is offering a weekly Friday text study courtesy of mindfulness coach Yael Shy
(New York) – OneTable, a national non-profit that empowers young adults (21-39ish) to find, share, and enjoy Shabbat dinners, is partnering with the Institute for Jewish Spirituality to offer a weekly Torah text study with mindfulness coach Yael Shy.
Each week, the OneTable community has the opportunity to use Yael’s mindfulness practice tips and discussion questions to reflect, enjoy, and share with others. The weekly Shabbat Moment is delivered to inboxes for subscribers and is accessible on the OneTable Blog.
About the Author
Yael Shy is the CEO of Mindfulness Consulting, LLC, where she teaches and consults on mindfulness for universities, corporations, and private clients around the world. She is the author of the award-winning book, What Now? Meditation for Your Twenties and Beyond (Parallax, 2017), and the founder of Mindful NYU, the largest campus-based mindfulness initiative in the US. Yael is a graduate of the IJS Jewish Mindfulness Teacher Training Certification.
