Shabbat Shuva
Shabbat Shuva is one of the most distinctive Shabbatot of the year, falling during the 10 Days of Repentance between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur. Many communities use it as an opportunity to focus on teshuvah – the practice of reflection, reconciliation, and return. Around the Shabbat dinner table this week, we leave room for the conversations that help bring that practice to life.
This High Holiday season is filled with Friday night moments. More opportunities to connect, to add joy, celebration, and friendship around the table, from Rosh Hashana through Sukkot. It has us thinking about the opportunities that come with space around the table, including the chairs that are still open.
