Equity when hiring
OneTable seeks to increase equity in its hiring and therefore to mitigate the inside edge sometimes given to those who have relationships with “field insiders,” OneTable does not accept informal recommendations from individuals with personal connections to our staff or Board members and cannot factor such referrals into selection of candidates for interviews.
Removing bias in hiring
Frequently cited statistics show that historical biases in hiring lead to less applications from underrepresented groups unless they have 100% of the qualifications. OneTable is committed to removing bias in hiring; as such, we encourage you to break that statistic and apply. No one ever meets 100% of the qualifications! We look forward to your application.
The Finance and Budget Specialist is a full-time staff member on the growing finance team and will report to the Controller. The ideal candidate will develop positive, collaborative, and constructive working relationships with the finance staff and will also have the ability to manage relationships and effectively communicate with program staff, the development team, and external consultants and vendors.
The Community Manager (based in Boston) is an experimental role as we consider the most efficient and strategic staffing structure for the OneTable Family of Offerings. The position will consistently evolve and iterate as we assess its success and determine the best path forward. While this position is based in Boston and will be supporting OneTable’s work locally, it will also have a proactive role in engaging and supporting other communities from afar, and may require periodic travel to those communities.
