Purim is Judaism’s carnival holiday, and is all about hidden identities, reversal of fate, and bravery in the face of danger. The story of Purim takes place in ancient Persia. There is a plot in the royal cabinet to wipe out the Jews from the kingdom. The evil scheme is singlehandedly defeated by Queen Esther, who (spoiler alert) turns out to be secretly Jewish!
