Taste the Rainbow: 10 Rainbow Recipes

June is Pride Month, an exciting time to celebrate our LGBTQ+ community, educate our peers, and open our table to conversations about ourselves, our identities, and what is going on in the world around us. Every time I host a Shabbat with OneTable I think of new ways to impress my guests to keep them coming back.

As a self-proclaimed foodie and owner of a small candy business, I wanted to use my expertise to brighten up my Shabbat menu this month. If you are looking to elevate your dinner and celebrate with your LGBTQ+ pals, here’s a list of 10 rainbow recipes to take your Pride Shabbat to the next level.

Have you made a charcuterie board before? Try swapping out your cheese and nuts for licorice and sour gummy worms! Surprise your guests with a sweet and colorful rainbow candy board to brighten up your dessert offerings.

These skewers are a fun and easy way to bring bright colors and freshness to the dinner table. Great for an appetizer, a side, or even the main course. No doubt your guests will love these!

These cookie bars scream wow to me! Who doesn’t love a cookie bar at the end of dinner? These will have your guests leaving on a high note.

Want to have a hands-on Shabbat dinner? My favorite dinners are usually the ones that have a “make your own” element to them. Try this rainbow sushi and add in all the veggies and even dye your rice different colors with natural flavoring!

Rainbow Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Simple, easy, and delicious.

Rainbow Challah

Lastly, it wouldn’t be a Pride Shabbat without a rainbow challah! Take a stab at creating rainbow challah for your guests to enjoy.
